Restore the pharaoh statue after 3,200 years

The statue in the walking posture of pharaoh Amenhotep III, once dumped more than 3,000 years ago in an earthquake, was restored to its original state.

According to Fox News, the completed pharaoh Amenhotep III statue was introduced on December 14, after the process of assembling 89 large pieces and many scattered pieces to recover as the original design.

The statue, 13 meters tall and weighs 121 tons, is now erected in front of the northern gate of the temple to bury the pharaoh, in the city of Luxor, southern Egypt.

Hourig Sourouzian, the head of the study at the temple, called the statue reconstructed "one of the highest-profile simulations of an Egyptian pharaoh in a walking position." Statue poured in 1,200 BC in an earthquake.

In March, archaeologists once restored the statue depicting pharaoh Amenhotep III in a sitting position with hands on the thigh, 11.5 meters high and weighing 250 tons, made from red quartz stone. Next to the right foot of the statue is Tiye, wife of pharoh. The second statue is a standing pharaoh image.

During the reign, pharaoh Amenhotep III is considered a great king, building a prosperous and powerful Egypt kingdom.
