Robocon 2008 opening: Great and vibrant

On the evening of June 3, the national Robocon final round was officially opened at Military Zone 7, HCMC. On the first day of competition, Team E-HT7 (Da Nang Polytechnic University) FA SO1 (Military Technical Academy) ranked first in Group B.

Participating in the competition, each team will use automatic robots and manual robots to pick up white, yellow cubes and balls that represent butter, milk and cheese. The robot of the team that gets 3 white and white butter cubes at the same time will lift the absolute score 'Govinda'.

At the opening ceremony, 12 matches in the two tables A and B were started with an impressive opening match between Hanoi Industrial University EDR G3T and Hanoi University of Technology BKTDH4. At the very first minute, the robots of EDR G3T team were 'described right and left,' excelling to destroy your team's robots, and quickly picked up the butter. At the end of the match, the "warriors" of the G3T EDR team surpassed BKTDH4 with an impressive score of 29-13.

The second match in Table A is the competition between SQPLV - School of Commanding and Information Technology Officer and CKD-SPEEDD - University of Technical Education in Ho Chi Minh City. From the beginning, SQ PLV with "warriors" named as tank robots has prevailed, because these robots are compact, can be easily wriggled. In particular, the robot controls two heads capable of "eating" up to 3 blocks of butter at once. SQ PLV's reasonable efforts and tactics have helped this team get the piece of yellow butter, winning with a pretty good score 27-18.

In Group B, the match between Hanoi University of Education and Training (NCU) 18-Nam Trieu and Hanoi University of Technology (BK Ao) was also dramatic. However, manual robots of both teams can only pick up 1 or 2 balls, so the rhythm of the match is relatively equal. Both DTU18-Nam Trieu and BK A0 scored 10 points; however DTU18-Nam Trieu is deducted 3 points for a handheld error, and the winning part belongs to BK A0.

Next is the match between E-HT7 - Danang Polytechnic University and FA SO1- Military Technical Academy. This is the second time, FA SO1 is present at the national Robocon final round.

The match just opened, the robots of FA SO1 quickly controlled the opponent, grabbed the yellow butter block. After a moment of surprise, E-HT7 changed tactics and quickly grabbed a large number of balls, scoring important scores to win with the score 16-12.

At the end of this first day of competition, E-HT7 (Danang Polytechnic University) as the leader of Group B and FA SO1 (Military Technical Academy) will enter the next round with two teams at Table A is EDR G3T (Hanoi Industrial University) and SQ PL (School of Information Technology Commanders).
