Starting the 2009 Robocon final round

Opening ceremony of the Robocon Finals in 2009 has just opened in Hue City on 11/5. Participating in the final round are 32 teams from 62 universities and colleges throughout the country.

With the theme "Triumphal drum beat", the Robocon from universities such as Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic, Hanoi University of Technology, Hanoi Industry, Military Academy, Da Nang Polytechnic . exported excellently overcame rivals in the preliminaries in three regions to Hue city to attend the final contest.

The final round took place from May 11 to 17 at the gymnasium of the Sports Center of Thua Thien - Hue province at 20 o'clock and broadcasted live on VTV2 channel of Vietnam Television. Particularly, 7 quarter-finals and semifinals and finals will be broadcast live on both VTV2 and VTV3 channels on the evening of May 17.

The total prize value of this year's competition is VND 165 million, of which the first prize winner receives VND 40 million and the representative of Vietnam participates in the international Asia-Pacific robocon contest held in Tokyo. Japan, August 2009.
