The SDA10 cooker is built by a team of engineers from Yaskawa Electric, which is capable of performing many difficult moves. Its arms can operate independently or in concert. SDA10 knows how to handle the space. With the ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kg, it is sufficient to perform traditional tasks such as packaging and assembly on the industrial chain. In addition, SDA10 knows how to do things that previous robots could not do, such as cooking.
About 60 companies and laboratories have exhibited the latest robotics technology in a three-day exhibition, which began Nov. 27, in Osaka, Japan.
Prior to that, the Mitsubishi-owned robot named Wakamaru opened the show with a 20-minute play. He reads the dialogue and moves around the stage with the real actor. Wakamaru uses lasers, cameras to locate objects and people. It can remember up to 10,000 words.
