Hanool Robotics (Korea) has introduced the robotic vacuum cleaner Ottoro artificial intelligence, can operate fully automatic and self-charging when the power is running out.

Unlike other vacuum cleaners that move randomly, Ottoro can self-identify a moving map with a location-recognition technique that allows it to operate intelligently. It has three times the suction power of existing robots, which can be used for 50 minutes on each charge. It also has an auto-charge function, which moves to the charging position for charging when the battery is low.

Ottoro can detect obstacles around through the ultrasonic sensor and camera and save this data to create the optimal algorithm. The user can control Ottoro remotely or let it operate completely automatically.

With 2 cameras and 30 sensors, Ottoro can locate his or her own, can move horizontally or vertically to clean the room. With the suction head located at the side of the body, Ottoro not only cleans the floor surface but also cleans up the walls, corners and surrounding objects where dust often clings. With an area of 130m 2 , Ottoro only takes about 40 minutes to complete the " mission ".

Ottoro will be available in December, priced at about 4 million won (about $ 4,000). Hanool Robotics said the robot's price would drop to about 2.5 million won if it was mass-produced.
