Run the 2010 Robocon qualifying competition in the Northern region

From April 20 to 25, 2010 in Hanoi, the North Robocon prequalification round will begin to start. Attending the 2010 Robocon in the North this time, 118 teams from universities and colleges registered to attend.

Vietnam Robocon 2010

Vietnam Robots Innovation Contest (Robocon Vietnam) is an annual contest starting in 2003 for students in the technical sector throughout the country, organized by Vietnam Television, Toyota Vietnam is a talent Main support for this program.

The theme of this year's competition is "Robo-Pharaohs built Pyramids". The idea is based on a virtual time machine bringing Egyptian pyramid builders into the classrooms of technical schools. The new goal is to build parts of the three Pyramids in sequence. Team members must have agility, precision and good coordination. They must follow the rules of not using any adhesive material between the blocks.

The teams will be divided according to the following principles:

Round 1: 118 teams are drawn into 30 tables on the principle that teams from the same school are not on the same table, playing rounds of 1 round in the pick-up table for the second round.

Round 2: 30 teams were divided into 8 groups (ABCDEFGH in which there are 6 groups of 4 teams and 2 tables of 3 teams) playing rounds of 1 round in the table to select 14 teams of the Northern region to participate in the finals (including 8 First team and 6 Second-place teams).

The Northern Region will select 14 best teams and 8 outstanding representatives from the Central Region and 12 of the South to attend the 2010 National Robocon Final round in Buon Ma Thuot City.
