Starting Robocon Vietnam 2016

On April 7, the 2016 Robocon Southern region qualifying matches kicked off at Rach Mieu Gymnasium (Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) with the participation of 19 teams from 5 universities, colleges and middle schools. professional level in southern provinces and cities.

The teams are divided into five boards, competing in a round-robin round to select the 8 best teams in the national finals.

After the opening ceremony, the matches of the five boards have taken place in a fierce and exciting way . The six representatives of Lac Hong University still proved their superiority over successive victories in a short time.

This year, Hong Ha secondary school had 2 teams participating for the first time. Schools with strong Robocon traditions in Ho Chi Minh City such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Industrial and Commercial College this year have no representatives.

The Northern Regional Qualifier with 60 participating teams will take place from 11 to 16 April in Hanoi.

Robocon VN National Finals 2014 with the theme "Finding clean energy" will take place in Ninh Binh in May 5/2016. The champion team will represent Vietnam to participate in the Asia-Pacific Regional Robot Innovation Competition in August in Thailand.
