The crews of two helicopters carrying a flight on the Laptev Sea in the North Sea have accidentally discovered the island.

According to geographers, a few hundred square meters of land may have appeared half a century ago. The discoverers thought of the name for the island.

Commander Mi-26 helicopter Alexandr Matveyev said: 'The opportunity to identify a new island is not much, although I still order my navigator to mark on the GPS navigation map and him made. In the following flight, we intentionally searched for it and turned out to be useless. The island really exists'.
