Rosatom, Vice President in charge of international trade and development, appreciated the role of information, openness and transparency in the field of atomic energy development.

According to Komarov, one of the necessary tasks is that the Russian side and the Vietnamese side open information centers right at the site of the construction of the nuclear power plant. He stated: 'In Russia, more than 10 centers have been opened, about 150,000 people come to these centers each year. After learning how we will build the factory and have complete information, they will have a more positive idea of ​​atomic energy. In Vietnam we will definitely open such centers ".

According to Komarov, the current environment around Russian nuclear power plants is very clean and local people feel very reassured.

As reported, Rosatom is Vietnam's partner in Vietnam's first nuclear power project, which is expected to be implemented in Ninh Thuan province, including two units with a total capacity of 4,000MW. According to the plan, the first unit will start construction in 2014 and start generating electricity in 2020.
