'On November 25, Soyuz 2.1B transport missile with Glonass-M spacecraft planned to launch Glonass-M navigation satellite on November 28,' spokesperson for Col. Alexei Zolotukhin, said.

This is the second time in November, Russia launched a spacecraft in the last Glonass project in 2011.

Earlier, on November 4, Russia launched the Proton-M rocket carrying three Glonass navigation satellites from the Baikonur space center after failing this ship last year that destroyed three Glonass-guided satellites Ms.

Glonass satellite is Russia's answer to the US global positioning system (GPS) and is designed for civilian and military use. GPS system allows users to locate within a few meters.

Russia currently has a total of 27 Glonass satellites in orbit, but only 23 satellites operate. The successful launch of Glonass satellite will raise 24 active satellites with global coverage.
