Experts hope this measure will help simplify the work of management agencies as well as facilitate immigration itself.

Currently the data bank has information about foreign citizens in Russia and their work. However, soon the system will be supplemented with biometric data collected by the Federal Migration Agency. In addition, photos and fingerprints of migrant workers are also included in the data bank.

In many countries, the work of obtaining biometric data has long been popular. According to the professor of the Department of Migration Process Management, University of State Management Vladimir Volokh, international experience shows that this measure will facilitate both government agencies and migrants.
