Viasat-1 is one of the strongest satellites ever developed.

Viasat-1 satellite will provide broadband services to customers in the US and Canada. With a total data capacity of about 140 Gbps, new satellites are larger than all telecommunications satellites in the North American sky combined .

The Viasat-1 satellite has left Earth from Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan, on the Proton rocket of the city at about 0:48 this morning (local time), with an estimated 9-hour access to the fund. According to the latest information, super satellites are now in orbit.

The satellite is named after the space technology provider Viasat in San Diego, USA, but it will serve Wildblue satellite broadband branch.

Prior to Viasat-1, the most powerful orbiter in the orbit was Eutelsat's Ka-Sat (70 Gbps), which served the European broadband market since May.
