Samsung mobile phone integrates Opera Mini
Yesterday (December 21), Opera Software said it had reached an agreement with Samsung to integrate Opera mini browser into products of the leading Korean mobile phone manufacturer.
The value of the contract between Samsung and Opera Software is not revealed.
Opera Mini has now become a standard web browser for mobile devices. This browser has the ability to automatically reformat web pages to better fit the compact screen on mobile devices.
Earlier this month Opera also reached a similar agreement with Nokia's leading mobile phone manufacturer. Accordingly, Nokia will integrate Opera Mini on its 6300 mobile phone line.
" Our strategy is to work closely with device manufacturers, network service providers and with users to make Opera Mini a popular global application ," Jon von Tetzchner - Opera's CEO - confirmed.
