In photography, the infrared filter is a type of filter that acts to capture infrared light and reduce the light visible to the naked eye, causing images to be captured into the camera sensor. There are very special colors.

Infrared filters have many types. Based on different wavelengths, they receive images of different color properties.

A 'blue' infrared filter allows more light at the passing blue wavelength to make the images look more blue. In it, the 'light green' infrared filter, also allows blue light to pass through, but to a lesser degree, produces a cool color image.

Infrared filters have many different types.

In general, the most characteristic effect of infrared filters is to make the leaves become bright white, while the sky and many other objects become abnormally dark.

This can be understood simply as follows: objects with a better reflection of infrared light when uploaded will produce white results while less contrasting objects will give a black image.

This effect has been used by photographers to create very impressive landscape pictures.

In Vietnam, infrared filters are sold for 30-70 USD each, depending on the thread diameter.
