Sinabung volcano again erupted violently

At 4:45 am today 3-9, Sinabung volcano on Indonesia's Sumatra island sprayed with the strongest level in the past few days. Smoke pillars as high as 3,000 meters shook houses and trees on the mountainside, causing panicked villagers to evacuate to safe areas.

' This spray is really strong, ' said Anto Sembiring, 37. He had to throw away his coffee shop to run away with hundreds of others. ' Everything around us is shaking. Many people previously did not believe the state's warning . '

This morning 3-9, Sinabung volcano continued to erupt stronger.

Mr. Surono, who is in charge of Indonesia's Volcanic Warning Center, said it was the third and the strongest. Vibration from this eruption can be felt from 8km away. The air was enveloped in a cloud of sulfur gas and people could only see everything within a few meters.

Mount Sinabung woke up for the first time after 40 years on August 29 with a column of smoke about 1,500 meters high, the second time on August 30 with a height of more than 2,000 meters and this time 3-9 reached 3,000 meters .

At least 30,000 people have been evacuated from the fertile mountains of North Sumatra province to live in makeshift tents. But after the second spray, when the situation seemed calm again, people returned home to take care of the colorful vegetables covered by ash, continuing to do business despite the experts' warnings.

" It is true that everyone is afraid to freak out and squeeze their feet on their necks ," Sembiring said.

Indonesia is a volcanic country, with 129 active mountain mouths located in the ' ring of fire ' that extends from the western hemisphere through Japan and Southeast Asia.

In 1815, the Tambora volcano erupted, burying the inhabitants of Sumbawa Island in ash, poisonous gas and rock, killing 88,000 people.

In 1883, Krakatoa volcano sprayed so hard that its explosions could be heard from 3,200km away and blackened the sky for several months. At least 36,000 people died in that eruption and the tsunami followed.
