SiS provides high-speed chipset for Intel

SiS (Silicon Integrated Systems) has announced that it has signed a long-term license agreement with Intel, which will provide Intel with chips for Core 2 Quad chips.

The SiS chipsets will be integrated with the 1,333MHz FSB and have many advanced features to optimize the speed and power of the Core 2 Quad quad-core processor.

The 1,333MHz FSB is still the largest FSB speed currently available, making the process of transferring information from the central processor to other components of the computer faster, avoiding the usual "bottleneck" takes place.

" SiS's new generation chipset will be a high-end option for customers who need an optimal solution with many technological improvements ," said Daniel Chen, CEO and chairman of SiS.
