Smart slider self-aligning in Japan

Nissan applies automated parking technology to make the slippers that can move itself to position.

Nissan introduced smart slippers with the ability to automatically run in the right place at a traditional Japanese hotel in the town of Hakone, Mirror said Jan. 26.

Each pair of slippers is fitted with two small wheels, engines and sensors that help them move on the floor. The new slipper is equipped with ProPilot Park technology that Nissan used in the Leaf. Thanks to the camera and high-tech sensor system, Leaf cars can automatically run in the right place on the parking lot.

Visitors to the town of Hakone can experience the technology in March. " Self-aligning slides will help people learn more about automated driving technologies, as well as potential applications beyond driving. " Said Nick Maxfield, a Nissan spokeswoman.

In addition to slippers, traditional Japanese cushions and tables are also equipped with self-relocating technology to make the guests feel more comfortable and comfortable.
