Solar energy tower

The height of this solar tower (793m) is twice as high as the famous Empire State building, which will be built in the desert in Arizona (USA). The tower is located 130 miles west of Phoenix, La Paz County and its birth will be a revolution in the use of renewable energy sources.

Turbines will operate through a stream of heat heated by sunlight to create natural energy. It is estimated that this giant tower will generate 1 million megawatt hours of electricity, enough to power 150,000 households. This energy tower project is being planned by EnviroMission. The company president said the project does not use clean water and low cost enough to compete with other energy industries.

According to the design, the optical satellite facilities are located around the main tower 2 miles in diameter, particularly the energy tower is the same diameter as a football field. In height, the energy tower only lost to Burj Khalifa in Dubai (828m) - the tallest architecture in the world today.

EnviroMission is negotiating with the state on the conditions for renting land for construction. In addition, the company has reached a 30-year electricity sale agreement for the Southern California Department of Public Energy. Previously there were similar energy towers but smaller scale built by the company in Spain. If this project goes smoothly, there will be 1,500 new jobs, the total cost for the project is 700 million USD.

Construction sites are selected in the Arizona desert because the place is quite flat, high temperatures and convenient power transmission lines for both Arizona and California. According to the Daily Mail, after successfully deploying this giant energy tower project, EnviroMission will continue to build copies of different sizes in Mexico, India and Australia.
