Emotional explanation between people and pets

Oxytocin is an emotionally stimulating hormone, unconditional protection when parents and children look into each other's eyes . According to Sagamihara University team, the hormone levels in the human and dog's brain increase as the dog looks at the owner.

To test, the team observed and recorded interaction between dogs and owners. They measured oxytocin levels in the urine and found that when the dog looked at its owner, hormone levels increased. However, when checking in wolves that are nurtured by humans, this phenomenon does not occur. This is one of the signs that may indicate that the relationship between people and dogs originates from the domestication process 34,000 years ago.

In the second experiment, they sprayed oxytocin directly into the noses of some dogs and left them in the room with the owner and strangers. The time when the bitches were sprayed with oxytocin saw their owners increase. After 30 minutes, the concentration of oxytocin in the host's brain also increased,

"This result provides evidence for the hypothesis that people love their pets as family members," Telegraph quoted Dr. Miho Nagasawa as a doctor.
