A person's brain can 'see' things even when he or she does not see them, and this finding is completely contrary to long-accepted hypotheses about how the brain processes visual information.

According to a report published in the Psychological Science magazine, head of research Jay Sanguinetti of the University of Arizona (USA) said the brain still analyzes the updated visual information through the eyes, even if its owner can not aware of the existence of the newly loaded image.

The new finding raises an important question: why a person's brain deciphers the meaning of the image while the person doesn't care. Previously, many theorists thought that, due to the loss of a lot of energy to operate, the brain only spent time deciphering the problems that humans could absorb.

However, in fact, the brain plays a decisive role in what people will comprehend. Therefore, it kept processing all the information before choosing the most appropriate interpretation for each case.
