The eyes can become windows of the brain by blood vessels behind the eyes that show the brain, said Men Health, a researcher in Psychological Science. The author of the work, Dr. Idan Shalev, found that middle-aged adults with large veins had lower results in IQ tests.

The blood vessels behind the eyes reflect the state of the cerebral blood vessels because they have the same size, structure and function. Dr Shalev said: "Eye blood vessels are developed from brain-like cells".

Some previous scientific work has shown a link between eye blood vessel size and the risk of dementia, cardiovascular disease or stroke in the elderly. Now, Dr. Shalev's research suggests that eyes can be used to predict early brain conditions for both young and young.

As such, you should check your eyes more often . Even if your vision is 10/10, you should not be subjective to timely monitor changes of your body if any. Also, keep your eyes healthy by eating lots of vegetables to absorb vitamins and antioxidants.
