Soybeans help reduce the risk of lung cancer in men
According to a recent study, along with quitting, having a soy-rich diet helps reduce the risk of lung cancer in men.
Soy is high in isoflavones - acting as estrogen - has anticancer properties, especially breast cancer and prostate cancer.
According to the report published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, lung tissue cells also react to isoflavones. Lung cancer tends to not develop in people who do not smoke and eat soy products regularly.
Scientists also believe that people who eat soy products tend to prefer to participate in other activities that help limit the risk of developing the disease. And they also gradually like a healthier diet.
