Spray your nose to be more confident

According to Top News , a nasal spray can help shy or introverted people become more confident in their first dates, job interviews or Christmas parties, which are activities that make them stressed.

A new study by Concordia University (Canada) shows that a form of oxytocin used in the nose can improve self-awareness in social situations.

Oxytocin, a natural hormone secreted after childbirth or during social cohesion periods, has recently been studied for its effects on social behavior.

Expert Mark Ellenbogen, a member of the research team, said: 'Our research shows that oxytocin can change the way people see themselves, which can make more people more sociable '.

'Under the influence of oxytocin, a person can feel more outward, more open to new ideas and trust people,' he stressed.

About 100 men and women aged 18 to 35 were selected for the study. These people do not take drugs, do not have mental disorders in the present or in the past and do not use recreational drugs or smoking.

They received inhalation of oxytocin from a nasal spray and completed their feelings questionnaire 90 minutes later.

Participants were evaluated for neurological sensitivity, openness to new experiences, new experiences, comfort and devotion.

"People who use oxytocin in their noses say they feel more outward and open than those who take placebo ," said Christopher Cardoso, another member of the research team.

'Specifically, using oxytocin has enhanced personality traits such as warmth, altruism, belief and openness , ' he added.

The research results have been published on Psychopharmacology.
