Started construction of Vinasat satellite control station

This morning (January 4), VTI International Telecommunications Company has started construction of Vinasat satellite control station in Hoai Duc commune - Ha Tay.

This is one of the important items of the project " Launching Vietnam telecommunications satellites ." The control station is located at Que Duong Satellite Information Center - Hoai Duc district - Ha Tay.

Vinasat project has been approved by the Prime Minister since October 18, 2005. The objective of the project is to launch 01 satellite into the position of 132 eastbound orbit, registered in the international static satellite orbit in 02 satellite control stations (one main station and one standby station). ).

Vinasat satellite will be put into operation, meeting domestic and international telecommunication service needs in the second quarter of 2008. It is expected that the construction and supply of auxiliary equipment of Que Duong satellite control station under Vinasat project has a total estimated cost of over VND 10 billion.
