Trees are an important component of the natural landscape and are a rich source of oxygen, food, shelter, building materials and protection for all other living things on Earth.

Mexico's most famous tree - Tule tree (Arbol del Tule) grows near the city of Oaxaca. The tree is currently nicknamed " the crown jewel of the plant world ". Previously, people used to know it only through a 120 million year old fossil. Very few pine trees of this type exist in nature, but humans have tried to preserve it all the time.
