Forecasting the cold spells of the winter of 2024-2025, Mr. Huong added that from December 2024 to February 2025, the temperature across the country tends to be close to the average of many years. In December alone, the temperature is likely to be lower in the Northern region and severe cold is likely to occur in the second half of December.

In December and the first half of January 2025, severe cold is likely to cause frost and frost in the northern mountainous areas. In addition, from late February to March 2025, there is a possibility of "wet cold" (cold accompanied by light rain and drizzle).

The equatorial trough combined with East wind disturbances continues to cause unseasonal rain in the Southern region , rain may occur from the morning. Due to cloudy weather with rain, in Ho Chi Minh City and other places in the South, the temperature is generally from 28-31 degrees.
