The effects are jamming radio information, damaging artificial satellites and causing radiation damage to the crew when traveling out into space.

The group of Japanese scientists said they studied this computer model by referring to the data on the intensity and direction of magnetic fields of the solar surface collected by satellites' Sun-B 'jointly made by Japan, Britain and the United States and launched in September 2006.
