Recently, the Prince of Wales Museum in Mumbai (India) successfully restored a 4,500-year-old mummy.

More than a year ago, a curator of the Museum discovered some parts of the mummy in a rotten state. The reason is that the Museum did not preserve this artifact properly. Therefore, the paint outside the coffin containing mummies and patches on the face, shoulders, chest and mummy feet also began to peel. In particular, the cold fabric wrapped around the mummy also becomes more loose, affecting the mummy inside.

With the help of experts from well-known institutions and museums in the world, including the British Museum in London and the Egyptian Museum, the mummy recovery has been carried out and brought back the results positive results. Experts restored the cold cloth wrapped around the mummy without using any chemicals.

In the process of recovering mummies, experts also discovered that Princess Naishu died at 24, not 18 and was pregnant as previously speculated. In particular, according to experts, the mummy's brain is still intact so the recovery process becomes more complicated due to more caution.
