According to ancient beliefs, the fact that the princess was buried in ice was intended to "block the world of the dead".

The Siberian Times said scientists had planned to bring back the mummy to the Altai Mountains in Russia and build a private mausoleum. Construction is expected to begin next year, on a 2500-meter high prairie in the Ukok plain.

The princess mummy with mysterious tattoos was discovered by archaeologist Natalia Polosmak in 1993. This is considered one of the most important archaeological findings of the 20th century.

The princess is said to have died at the age of 25 due to breast cancer and her mummy was found in permafrost. The bodies of two other men were also discovered nearby. Around the resting place of the princess there are 6 horses and harnesses, supposedly to bring the princess soul to the afterlife, with some lamb and horse meat.

Archaeologists also found jewelry made of wood, copper and gold, along with a small bag of marijuana and a stone dish with burned scent placed on it. From clothes and utensils, scientists recreated the image of the princess wearing a long dress made of Chinese silk, wearing high boots with beautiful motifs.

At 2,500 years ago, Chinese silk was only found in the royal tombs of the Pazyrk people, and this shows the wealth and the high social status of mummies.

When found, the head of the mummy was shaved off, and wearing a wig made of horse hair with a small deer carved from wood. The princess's face and neck skin were not intact, but the left arm's skin was still intact. What surprised the most archaeologists was that the tattoos were aesthetically pleasing and very similar to modern-day tattoos on mummies.

On the shoulder of the mummy, there is a tattoo of a mysterious creature like deer with the beak of the falcon and the unicorn horn; on the unicorn horn with a falcon-shaped head. The mouth tattoo of a flower leopard with long tail was also found, along with a deer head tattoo on the wrist.

Akai Kine, the team leader who planned to take the princess back to the resting place, said: "According to the preliminary plan, we will take the mummy back to the resting place and build a mausoleum there, on the plain of Ukok where We found the mummy in 1993. We will publish this widely and hope to receive many public contributions. "

The elderly in the Altai Mountains had long offered to return the mummy to the resting place on the Ukok plain. They claimed that the worst flood in Altai in 50 years as well as a series of earthquakes was caused by the angry princess. Before proposing to build a mausoleum for the princess, the elders agreed to three basic conditions.

"First, the mummy will be returned to the burial place. Second, the mausoleum must be built in the traditional way as when the princess is buried. And third, scientists will be allowed to access the mummy." , Akai Kine said.
