Successful surgery for patients with giant tumors
On July 13, doctors of K Hospital successfully operated for Luc Thi Linh, who had a huge tumor on her face. The surgery, which started at 9:00 and lasted more than 2 hours, ended well. The surgical surgeon was led by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Bao, Head of the Department of Ancient Surgery, K Hospital, and the doctors in the hospital.
After the surgery, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Bao informed, the operation of the surgery was relatively good. However, the patient had a large tumor removed from the right jaw, the left jaw tumor remained because the patient had a lot of blood. When tumors are opened, tumors have invaded too broadly, eating the upper jaw bone, sinuses .
The effectiveness of this tumor removal treatment has the effect of limiting the likelihood of recurrence. Even so, the tumor could still recur because the doctors were not sure if they had scraped out the sick cells.
Luc Thi Linh is the youngest of five family members with huge tumors on her face. Because this is the mildest case, the tumor is only localized in the maxillary bone, not causing eye deformity and has not damaged the skull base, so Luc Thi Linh was selected to operate.

Before the surgery, the doctors determined that this was a very complicated operation and could not say anything. Before the surgery, the patient was undergoing biopsy from the tumor and a picture of the patient sent to Germany and the United States for advice and diagnosis. Through diagnosis and testing, doctors have had surgery plans for Linh patients.
It is expected that one week after surgery, when there are results of disease surgery, the doctors will give the next combined treatment measures. Currently, the health of Luc Thi Linh patient is stable but there will be monitoring.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Bao said, after surgery Luc Thi Linh patient, could not continue surgery for Linh's sisters because these cases are very large, high level of danger.
The cost for each surgery is about VND 50 million.
