Especially the night viewfinder built by the subject can clearly see the target at a distance of up to 1 km in a completely dark condition by using an invisible laser projection system.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Huan, a member of the research team, the biggest success of the research team is to rely heavily on domestic internal resources to design and manufacture such a high-tech product . This work includes a series of dozens of stages to study, from optoelectronic, laser, optical lenses, vacuum film coating, image processing to design technological processes: optical machining , precision engineering, electronic-automatic control, product assembly . until the smallest stages of processing, which stage is new, from the beginning.
'In the future, the research team will focus on improving technology and commercializing products on the basis of state investment as well as joint ventures with some outside companies. On the basis of inheriting the achieved results, we will focus on the research and application of advanced and visual optoelectronic components for robots (monitoring, automatic measurement .), microscope and some special optical devices for defense, security, health and some other areas, " said the chairman of the project.
