The operation of the Yellowstone volcano in the US with high temperatures causes the asphalt to melt and the park must be temporarily closed.

The heat activity of the Yellowstone volcano , located underground in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, caused temperatures to rise above normal, the surface of the road on July 10 had a temperature of about 70 degrees Celsius.

The hot weather in the summer with super volcanic activity makes the road surface evaporate and the asphalt melts. Dan Hottle, a spokesman for Yellowstone National Park, described high temperatures that asphalt seemed to turn into soup.

According to RT, part of the main road leading to Yellowstone National Park was blocked. The park management board temporarily closed this area to avoid danger to visitors.

Underground heat activity in parks often causes fluctuating temperatures and may affect the surface bitumen. However, this activity has a heavier impact. The road is being repaired and is expected to resume traffic in the coming week, sightseeing activities will take place as usual.

The US Geological Survey said the most recent eruption of the Yellowstone volcano was 640,000 years ago. This is one of the volcanoes that can wake up in the future. In December last year, experts found that the magmatic layer below the volcano had an enlarged size nearly three times higher than previously predicted. The volcano is expected to explode with a tremendous eruption force.
