Super-fast aircraft flies around the world in 4 hours
British aviation technology company Reaction Engines says it is producing a plane that can take passengers anywhere in the world in just four hours.
According to Business Insider on July 16, Reaction Engines claims the new technology is "the biggest breakthrough in jet fuel since the jet engine was born." The technology of Reaction Engines can cool air in aircraft engines from 1,000 degrees Celsius to -150 degrees Celsius in 0.01 seconds.
That means the engine can operate with much greater power than the conventional one without overheating. Thus, the aircraft using this engine can achieve higher speeds than conventional aircraft. Reaction Engines' Alan Bond engineer claims that the company's aircraft can fly up to 6737km / h (5.5 times the speed of sound).

Reaction Engines plans to produce a super-fast aircraft capable of carrying 300 passengers. " This aircraft will completely change the high-speed aviation industry. No one will be able to compete with us because we are unique ' - Bond engineers confident.
As originally planned, the Skylon aircraft would be about 84 meters long, take off and land in a conventional aircraft. However, the aircraft will have no window, a disadvantage for passengers who enjoy the view from above.
The price of each Skylon aircraft is about $ 286 million. Estimated total cost of Reaction Engines Skylon program is up to $ 12 billion. According to Space.com, Skylon aircraft can also be used to fly to orbit the Earth. The original objective was to take the goods to the International Space Station (ISS), then to serve space travel.
Reaction Engines are testing the engine cooling system. The first test flight of the Skylon aircraft is expected to take place in 2019.
