The fact that China sent a number of old aircraft to the US for dismantling has attracted public attention.
The first C919 aircraft was delivered to China Eastern Airlines in December 2022, with 164 seats with 8 business seats and 156 economy seats.
Both are narrow-body passenger aircraft, Europe's Airbus A320 has been in operation since the 1980s, while China's C919 first debuted in 2024.
China has successfully built and tested the world's largest firefighter, approximately the size of a Boeing 737 and 37m long.
The C919 is the first large passenger airliner built by China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (COMAC) and will fly in July this year.
