typhoon haiyan devastated the philippines

On November 14, the United Nations led a source from a Philippine government agency saying the total number of deaths in the typhoon Haiyan in the country amounted to 4,460.

Local police said the strongest typhoon in Haiyan was said to have claimed the lives of about 10,000 people in central Leyte province alone.
