Tamiflu can cause mental problems
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued another warning for Tamiflu bird flu medication after more than 100 Japanese patients had some mental problems due to the side effects of drug.
These side effects include delirium, hallucinations, suicide and self-injury.
According to the FDA website, most cases of side effects are children. They urge parents to monitor their child's unusual behavior when they are taking medication.
But Roche, the Swiss pharmaceutical company and producer of Tamiflu, said there were no signs that their drugs caused the symptoms.
