The 10 scariest assassins in the ocean
Giant squid, king crab, and fighting fish are three of the most dangerous animals among the dead.
According to the Telegraph, some of the animals below are not large, but they are still scary by the ability to destroy prey quickly.
People know very little about giant squid, because they live in deep water in the Pacific Ocean. Their mystery is increasing by the stories of fishermen, whereby they often reach giant tentacles from the sea floor to rip their boat. Fishermen rarely see giant squid alive, because they often die when caught in fishing nets. With an average width of 1.5 m and a maximum weight of 10 kg, the crab Paralithodes Camtschaticus (also called king crab) is really a formidable opponent of many marine species.Photo: Paul Grover.
The hideous animal in the picture is the squid fish - one of the planet's most ugly marine animals. They live near the ocean floor, where there is almost no light. Most foot scales have an average body length of about 30 cm. Some animals can reach a length of 90 cm. Their skin is dark brown or dark gray.Photo: itsnature.org.
With an average body length of about 9 m and a weight of 4,500 kg, killer whales are really scary predators in the ocean. They eat fish, seals and even sharks. People have seen killer whales break ice to catch seals and soar into the air to catch birds.Photo: National Geographic.
Living at a depth of about 5 km below the sea, fangtooth (fangtooth) fish is one of the scary predatory fish, although their maximum length is only 16 cm. As their name suggests, fish fangs possess powerful teeth, with two large teeth and many small teeth. This fish lives in both warm waters and cold waters.Photo: Ian Jones.
Despite being as small as a golf ball, the blue-spotted squid remains one of the most feared assassins of the ocean. Its venom can kill people very quickly and so far the scientific community has yet to find a drug that can fight the venom of the blue-spotted octopus.Photo: John Taylor.
Arowanas live on the seabed and are famous for their slim bodies, large teeth. Although the body length is only about 15 cm, this fish is also a terrifying predator. They bait with a glowing component attached to the cheek.Photo: Gordon Ag-Jones.
Coelacanth was once thought to be extinct 400 million years ago, but in 1938 it was discovered. This fish is an average of 170 cm long and weighs 60 kg. They are of no commercial value, because when the fish's tissues die, the fat goes out, making the meat sour.Photo: thelmagazine.com.
Stonefish is the most terrifying venom fish on the planet. They are also masters in the art of makeup, because their bodies can blend into the surrounding environment. Rock fish never attack any animal. Instead they wait for bait to touch their bodies. The fighting fish's venom can cause paralysis or death immediately.
