The 13-year-old boy talked about the shocking feeling after being struck by lightning

After returning from the dead, the American teenager shared his feelings after being struck by lightning, the ABC channel on August 19 reported.

On August 8, 2018, 13-year-old teenager Josiah Widman, who was traveling with a friend in Arizona park, was struck by surprise.

The lightning strike threw him into the air nearly 3 meters and led to the heart stopping beating. The boy may have died, but a man passing by ran to the boy and did CPR, then Josiah was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

In addition to heart failure, the boy also suffered a skull fracture, brain concussion, leg burns and short-term memory loss.

"I woke up in the hospital 3 days later and thought I was just falling asleep. I didn't even know that I was here for the past 3 days. I just remember how hot it was, and after all that is lost, " commented Josiah Josiah about the incident.

According to the boy, his death was saved by a skateboard, which the boy held in his hand while walking.

Josiah thinks that the skateboard has transmitted most of the charge to the ground. However, his mother judged that, due to skis causing an accident when absorbing the target electricity.

It is known that the average lightning charge is equivalent to about 1 billion joules - this energy is enough to power a 60 Watt light bulb for half a year.

It is estimated that about 90% of victims of lightning can survive, but most of them suffer from severe burns and heart disease due to the large charge.
