The 3rd International Scientific Conference on Asian Reproductive Biotechnology
From November 29 to December 3, 2006, the Institute of Biotechnology (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) collaborated with Riken Institute of Development Biology (Japan) to organize an international scientific conference on Asian reproductive biotechnology. 3rd.
Photo: Nguyen Van Thuan Attending the Conference were nearly 100 delegates from countries and territories: Japan, Korea, China, Australia, France, America, Taiwan, Singapore, England, Italy, Thailand and near 100 excellent Vietnamese scientists and students in the field of biotechnology.
The conference was heard by scientists presenting the latest achievements in stem cell technology, IVF, cloning; linking technologies such as nanotechnology, molecular biotechnology; applications in biodiversity protection, agricultural development, modern biomedical (treatment of infertility, cell replacement treatment .). The conference also discussed issues of cooperation in research, training and development of reproductive biotechnology in Asia.
Participants in the Conference also witnessed scientists from RIKEN Institute of Development Biology presenting the technique of sperm injection and cloning on mice.
