The body of a 9-year-old boy in Turkey is like a magnet, can attract metal objects.

Mehmet Sumbul, 9, is living with his parents in Antalya City in southwestern Turkey. The boy surprised many people with the ability to use his body to suck objects like spoons or forks.

Mehmet's parents found that their son had a special ability when he tried to use his body to suck some metal objects like a show on television. Mehmet said that his body could suck screws, metal ashtrays, cell phones and other objects containing metal.

Whenever angry, this boy's body can absorb metal objects.

"I was treated as a strange person , " Mehmet said. "When I'm angry, the magnetic field in my body becomes stronger. I feel like a magnet."

"My son can smoke any small metal object. I have never taken Mehmet to the hospital to see because he is still healthy. He learns very well at school and also plays well in sports." Mehmet's father said.

Mehmet's phenomenon is called "human magnetic field" and those with special abilities say they can smoke other materials such as glass, porcelain, wood or plastic. But many scientists argue that this phenomenon is only oily skin .
