The best photos about the environment in 2010

First prize in CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year 2010 - Environmental Photographer of the Year 2010 - belongs to the German photographer Florian Schulz with a photo of thousands of stingrays swimming across the ocean at Baja California Sur , Mexico.

1. First prize:

Photographs of thousands of rays streaking across the ocean were taken by German photographer Florian Schulz at Baja California Sur, Mexico. German photographers say this is the most spectacular sight in 30 years of continuous flight across the region.

2. Good young photographer award

Radoslav Radoslavov Valkov, a 20-year-old amateur photographer, was honored to win a young photographer with a close-up shot of a fly drinking dewdrops on his lawn in Bulgaria.
