Deep down in the ocean is the common home of countless species of bacteria. Most of them cannot see with the naked eye. However, there are also large species of shrimp noodles, which form large-scale microbial mats of Greek at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

The total number of bacteria detected is equivalent to 240 billion African elephants (each African elephant weighs 3-5 tons).

Sometimes, fishermen cannot pick up fishing nets because there are more bacteria than shrimp on their nets. Scientists calculate that 1m 2 bacteria have a mass of about 1 kg.
