Japan's third-largest automaker, Nissan, has introduced a new technology to detect and prevent drivers from driving when it has glazed.

The new technology includes breathable breath sensors, hand sweep detectors, and a camera to monitor alertness by scanning the driver's eyes. If the system thinks that the driver is too drunk, it will send information to the driver to lock the ignition, so the car will not start.

Nissan says the technology is still under development, but will soon be marketed to reduce road deaths.
