Mr. Le Thanh Hai, deputy director of the Central Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, said that the weather in the North during Tet holidays will warm up. On the night of the 27th and the morning of January 28 (25th New Year), a series of intense cold air poured down, the temperature of the northern provinces will decrease further. This cold air phase has strong intensity but rapidly weakens, causing cloudiness to decrease.

From 1/2 (29 New Year), the sky will warm up, the average daily temperature will rise to a cold, variable level from 15-16 degrees Celsius, warm sunshine during the day, cold at night.

According to Mr. Hai, the Tet holidays will be typical of spring weather, drizzling rain, small rain, warm weather, noon in the afternoon, cold nights and large night and day temperature differences. In Hanoi, the night temperature will be about 12-15 degrees Celsius, daytime is about 17-20 degrees Celsius, some days are sunny and warm, the temperature can reach 20-23 degrees Celsius. This warm weather can be will last until the end of the New Year holidays (May 5).

Long-term forecasts, ending the Tet holiday, have not seen any cold, damaging cold spell next. In February, there will be a cold spell, but the temperature is not too low and does not last as long as the current cold.
