Stanton County representative Jerry Weatherholt shared: "More than half of the town has completely disappeared. The whirlwind swept through and left a terrible mess."
Pilger rescue workers and townspeople are struggling to "save" destroyed houses. This town has 350 inhabitants. Due to its exceptionally flat terrain, Nebraska State is a "famous" place where tornadoes occur regularly in the United States.
