The East Sea is about to welcome the 11th storm

This morning, a tropical depression is approaching Luzon Island (Philippines), expected to intensify into a storm and enter the East Sea on October 13.

The central hydro-meteorological center said that today, the center of tropical depression is about 420km east of Luzon island, the strongest wind force is 60km / h, level 7 equivalent.

This day and night, the tropical depression is west-northwest, with a speed of 25 km / h and is likely to become a storm. In the morning, storms enter the East Sea, maximum winds of 75km / h (level 8).

Due to the cold air in the north pouring down, the storms are not north but west, aiming at the Hoang Sa archipelago of Vietnam and continue to grow stronger.

Currently the tropical depression is still far away, Vietnam meteorological agency has not forecasted the area to be affected.

The cold air combined with the east wind causes rain to end today

Meanwhile, the cold air section is still moving to Vietnam, today (October 12) will overflow to the northern mountains, then go deep into the delta and midland provinces. From tomorrow, the temperature of Hanoi capital gradually decreases, the lowest is 20 degrees C.

Cold air causes strong winds of level 5 in the Gulf of Tonkin, north of the East Sea with level 6 winds, shock level 8, rough seas.

Due to the cold air combined with the high east wind, from October 12, North Vietnam and North Central Vietnam still rained. Particularly, Hoa Binh, Son La, Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa and Quang Binh provinces in the morning of October 12 had heavy rains, then gradually decreased.

From the beginning of the year until now, the East Sea welcomed 10 storms and many tropical depressions, many landings in Vietnam. Most recently, on September 15, Doksuri stormed Ha Tinh - Quang Binh, killing 8 people, nearly 200,000 houses damaged. Many districts in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh lost power for a week.

In the morning of October 10, two provinces of Ha Tinh - Quang Binh were hit by tropical depression, causing heavy rain from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, more than 10 people were killed.
