According to the Korea Times , researchers have introduced this intelligent aircraft in the space center in Goheung city, in South Jeolla province.
Unmanned aerial vehicles use two side blades of South Korea.
Park Kyun Je, director of KARI's Intelligent Aircraft Development Center, says they will continue to increase the speed of the aircraft to 500km / h. Currently the helicopter only reaches speeds of 200-300km / h.
The two-blade design of the fuselage can be used in individual aircraft models in the future as they move up and down vertically, without the need for runways. This design only appeared in the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey - unmanned aircraft developed by the US Maritime Company.
The research team is submitting the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of economy to commercialize the product. They think it is very useful in emergency situations such as fire, island patrol, environmental observation.
According to Teal, the demand for unmanned aircraft is expected to increase to $ 19 billion by 2020, compared to $ 9 billion in 2010.
