The success of the thesis affirms the real ability of the mechanical engineering industry in Vietnam in general and the field of mechanical equipment manufacturing in particular.

Construction work of 500kV transformer to timely serve the needs of national grid development in the period from 2006 to 2015, ensuring energy security and the need to develop Vietnam's power transmission system. At the same time, saving imported currency is a counterbalance for foreign suppliers to reduce prices when selling goods into Vietnam; helping the electricity industry take initiative in preventing overload, stabilizing electricity; to build and expand the 500kV national transmission grid system.

Successful production of the 500kV transformer also affirmed Vietnam's position in the international and regional markets. By this time, Vietnam has risen to become the first Southeast Asian country to build a 500 kV transformer .

The project is invested by Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, with a total value of VND 180 billion, of which, self-arranged capital accounts for 90%, the State budget supports 10%.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Huy Tuong has attached the project and affirmed that the design and manufacture of 500kV transformer also created motivation and imprint in the industrial production field of the capital.
