The first aircraft in the world is powered by hydrogen
US airline giant Boeing announced on April 3 for the first time in the world that a hydrogen powered airplane flying into the sky, a turning point that could open up the green future for the industry. This.
"For the first time in aviation history, Boein has taken off a hydrogen powered manned plane," Boeing technology leader John Tracy said.

Boing's experiments on the 6.5-meter long plane took place February and March at an airport in Ocana, south of Madrid, Spain. The company says that although hydrogen fuel cells can be used for small aircraft, it is unlikely to be a major fuel for large passenger aircraft.
The test aircraft is small, with a wingspan of 16.3 meters, carrying two people. It reaches speeds of 100 km / h in about 20 minutes, at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, using only hydrogen batteries.
With this fuel cell, the energy generated by the chemical reaction turns hydrogen and oxygen into water. Because it produces only steam, it promises to be a clean, renewable source of energy.
