Four robots participated in the race to begin training in Osaka in western Japan in the presence of reporters, the Telegraph reported.
Japan's TBS television said four robots were produced by the Osaka Institute of Technology and a company called Vstone. Three of these robots have two legs, and one robot moves by the wheel. The highest robot has a height of 40 cm.

The competition will be held on February 24th and the robots will race on a 100m track in 422 times. They can take up to 4 days to complete the 42 km distance.
The 'athletes' will be allowed to change batteries and repair during the race. But they will have to stand up if they fall.
